JUDGED

If you Judge a person before you meet them it’s totally wrong. I have done it before in my life time and I regret it. The last time I done was at the lecture when the speaker told us to do so. Everybody is different. I remember in high school in my English class we was reading a book called Define Normal. The book was about a girl by the name of Jazz who dressed gothic and smoked cigarettes and hung out with people who did drugs and hang out in abandoned buildings. A girl by the name of Antonia was asked to peer council the so called bad girl. She didn’t want to do it because she judged her before she even met her. She thought she was a bad person and would kill her or something, hypothetically speaking. After peer counseling went on for a while Antonia found out that Jazz was one of the smartest kids in the school getting straight A,s. this is just an example of how judging a person before you know them is really wrong and you shouldn’t do it.

Being black I’m always being judged before the person actually meets me. For example one day I went into electronic store with a couple of my friends. They, neither did I look like a bad person or anything we just went there to buy a game and eat at subway. While walking around we notice that we were like the only black people in the store but we just made a joke about it and kept walking. A little while later we notice a guy following us like everywhere we were. Every time we looked up he was there. I was like,” dude do you notice that this guy is following us?” one of my friends said yes but he thought he was just tripping. We couldn’t find the game and we decided to just leave. While walking to the door they stopped us and said,” what did yawl still?” it caught me off guard because we didn’t still anything. He then told us to empty out our pockets. We did because we didn’t want any trouble but then left. I feel I was judged before they met me because of my racial back ground.
