Change...

Hello Ladies and Gents!!

If I could take a trip anywhere right now at this moment. I would take a trip back home to visit my family in St. Louis. I truly miss seeing my friends and family. Enjoying family outings and bonding with my loves ones. Or to even just relax in my room being in an environment that I am use to was very hard to release. Leaving home has made me really appreciate everything I have.

Being so far away from home has been a big challenge but I have found ways to deal with leaving home. I find encouragement in knowing that what I’m doing is for a good cause. Another reason is that I had a choice to leave or stay. In this book these characters had no choice on whether they wanted to leave or stay. They had to or else they would be killed. Knowing that I have the freedom to make this decision is greatly appreciated.

As I sat and thought about everything the boys had to go through I realized that their freedom had been stolen away. Not having the choice or not being able to voice your opinion is very surprising to me because I have the right to do so. If I was ever put in that situation I’m not sure how I would react. One day your living at home and the next you are somewhere not know your environment or surroundings. This author had to deal with every emotion that came with this drastic change.

I can totally relate to this since I’ve recently moved from St. Louis to Chicago. Realizing that everything in life is not for granted and you never know when something is going to happen that would be life changing. In saying that I feel that everyone needs to appreciate everything they have because people suffer everyday around the world having no choice but deal with the situation and pray that all is well.
