How I relax
I relax when I dance off the frustration and stress. Dancing is my way to refresh myself so I can keep going on school and my own personal things. I always love to just feel the rhythm of the music and just dance to it without thinking. When I know the dance routine completely, all I do is to just dance it out, I like to be aggressive to dance and smooth when it comes to dancing hip-hop. I can also relax a little by just listening to music; while listening to the music I imagine in my head dancing to the rhythm in front of a full crowd. Talking to kind individual’s, weather they are a friend of mine or a teacher, also helps me relax because I can talk about my troubles with them or if I had a great time just spending time with them. Another way I can relax besides dancing is playing sports with a little bit of aggression. Sarah relaxes when she plays instruments with the school band. The rhythm of the music relaxes her because as she is playing her own instrument she keeps the tempo going while the other band mates try to play along with her. Playing musical instruments is basically her way of meditating to keep her emotions controlled. Sarah and I mostly relax artistically because we both have rhythm in some ways when we are doing our own activity. One important similarity is that we both listen to music and try to keep the tempo going while the music is playing. The only difference is that Sarah plays musical instruments while I dance to the music. Overall Sarah and I are similar when it comes to relaxing when doing an activity that involves music. She and I always love to have the music flow through our head when we are doing our hobbies.
