My Book of Choice

The reason I choose Sarah Vowell's "take the cannoli" was because it looked like a smaller book than the others and the book sounds like it would be easier to understand when I'm reading. The description of the book sounded more like a mystery book filled with mysterious adventures. So far in the book I cannot quite tell if the book meets my expectations because it’s mostly just introducing where the story takes place and what the characters do for a living. The book is not quite there with my thoughts of this book being mostly a mystery book with adventures. However, the book starts out different than I thought it would be. The reason why is because the first chapter of the book says “shooting dad” and I though the mystery adventures would start right at the beginning of the book. But when I read the first chapter it completely fooled my thinking the mystery actions would be the most devastating part in the book.
